Hair salons and barbershops

A hair salon website that books clients while you cut

A hair salon website has one main job: let clients book themselves, at any hour, with the stylist they trust. When you are halfway through a balayage, nobody answers the phone, and the caller simply tries the next salon on Google. With online booking, your chairs are bookable day and night, reminders go out on their own, and you stay focused on the client in front of you. What eats up your time

Calls you can’t take mid-colour

Gloves on, dryer running, phone buzzing on the counter. By the time you call back between clients, they have often booked somewhere else.

No-shows on long appointments

A forgotten cut and colour is a 2-hour hole you can’t fill on short notice. Appointments booked 6 weeks out are the easiest ones to forget.

One paper book, several stylists

Crossed-out names, double bookings, a blowout squeezed in at 4 p.m. that nobody mentioned. And the client’s colour formula is on a card somewhere in a drawer.

What your website does for you

24/7 online booking for your hair salon

Clients pick the service (cut, colour, highlights, beard trim) and a time within the slots you open. Nothing gets booked outside your availability.

Clients choose their stylist

Each stylist has their own hours and services. Regulars see their stylist’s openings; new clients can grab the first free slot.

Email confirmation and text reminder

An email goes out right after booking, then a text 24 hours before. Texts are billed at cost, a few cents each.

Cancel and reschedule under your rules

You set the cutoff, for example no online cancellations within 24 hours. Clients move their own appointment and the freed slot reopens right away.

One salon calendar, synced with Google Calendar

The whole team in one view, on the front desk computer or a phone. Each stylist can also see their day in Google Calendar.

Client records with visit history

Every visit adds to the client’s record: services, stylist, notes. The colour formula is right there when they come back.

A day with the system

A Saturday at the salon with online booking

Friday, 9:40 p.m.: a client books a cut and blowout with Julie for Saturday at 10, on her phone, in 2 minutes, and gets an email confirmation. Saturday morning, Julie opens the calendar on the front desk tablet: 7 appointments, 3 of them booked overnight. Another client, reminded by text the day before, moved her colour to Tuesday on her own; the 1 p.m. slot reopened and was booked by mid-morning. At 3 p.m., the highlights client walks in and her record shows last time’s formula. The phone rang twice all day, for questions, not for bookings.

The Booking package, at $3,299 (plus taxes, paid once), fits most salons: everything in the Showcase site, plus online booking, stylist selection, text reminders and a shared calendar. Typical timeline: 2 to 3 weeks. If you work alone and your clients already text you without trouble, the Showcase site at $1,499 can be enough to start, and booking can be added later. If you also want automatic Google review requests, follow-ups to clients who haven’t been back, and separate logins for each stylist, look at Complete management at $5,999. Frequently asked questions

How much does a hair salon website cost?

At JobeLabs, a website with online booking is $3,299 plus taxes, paid once. A showcase site without booking is $1,499. Reminder texts are billed at cost, and the Peace of Mind plan at $49 a month is optional.

Isn’t a monthly salon booking app simpler?

Subscription platforms are quick to set up, but you pay every month, sometimes per stylist or per booking, and your client list lives on their platform. Here you pay once and you own the site and the data. If you’d rather own nothing and pay monthly, a platform can still be the right call.

Can I enforce a cancellation policy?

Yes. You decide the rule, for example no online cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment. After that cutoff, the client has to call you. The text reminder the day before already prevents many forgotten appointments.

Can clients pick a specific stylist?

Yes. Each stylist has their own schedule and services, and clients choose a person or the first available slot. A barber who doesn’t do colour won’t show up for colour services.

How long until the site is live?

Plan on 2 to 3 weeks for a site with booking. It starts with a free 20-minute discovery call, then a written fixed-price quote within 48 hours. Request your quote whenever you’re ready.

Shall we take a look together?

Free 20-minute discovery call. You then get a written, fixed-price quote within 48 hours.
